 A Guide to Carton Sealing Tapes
Acorn supply a variety of carton sealing tapes in
clear and buff for use with automotive hand tape dispensers or for
use on Automatic/Semi Automatic machines.
 Polypropylene Acrylic (Water-Based)
The most cost effective tape on the market suitable for general
purpose packing and sealing. Acorn also offers a Low Noise Polypropylene
Acrylic alternative, making it an ideal choice when used in confined
working areas.
Polypropylene Hot Melt Adhesive
Less environmentally damaging than solvent based tapes due to the
absence of PVC, this has quickly become a favourite for general
packaging ideal for use on recycled board.
Polypropylene Solvent
Solvent based tapes offer a tough, long-lasting seal to paper, board
and plastic surfaces. They are ideally suited for goods which require
for long-term storage and also when products need to be stored down
to -25°.
Custom-Printed and Pre-Printed Packaging
Tapes
Bespoke printed tapes are an attractive and cost effective way to
advertise your business whilst being able to identify your products
once packaging has been completed. We also stock a wide selection of
the most common pre-printed tapes including eye catching red on white background.
Coloured Vinyl Tape
Used for colour coding products in the warehouse or stores. Durable, highly visible with excellent
adhesive qualities.
Barrier/Hazard Warning Tapes (Adhesive & Non-Adhesive)
 Non Adhesive brightly coloured barrier tape in Yellow and Black or Red and White chevron design. Used for marking out hazardous and dangerous areas.
PVC floor marking tape (Adhesive) is suitable for marking walkways and aisles on warehouse floor and for highlighting areas designated for quarantined goods.
